In the near future, humanity builds a SQUARE-shaped artificial paradise on the Moon, accessible only to those who see and think like a square. To fit in, people have grown accustomed to using "squarification machines": mechanical presses, corrective devices, and cosmetic surgeries that shape their bodies into cubes and shut their minds off from questioning.
