Paulistas and Soledad are two rural regions located in the south of the state of Goiás in Brazil. In the early 1990s, rural exodus intensified with the expansion of monoculture farming and the exploitation of water resources. Since 2014, no young people have
lived in the region. It's July - vacation time, when sons and daughters return to visit their parents' homes.
