To Kill the Beast

Emilia (17) arrives in a religious town on the border between Argentina and Brazil. She searches for her missing brother, with whom she shares a dark and unresolved past. She stays at the house of her strange aunt Inés, near the forest where, according to rumors, a dangerous beast had appeared a week earlier. The beast, people say, is the spirit of an evil man who takes the form of different animals. Caught between reality and mythology, human and animal, guilt and sexuality, Emilia will have to confront her past.
